Some of the more memorable walks I have done through Australia's National Parks, mainly Kosciuszko National Park.

The forecast for the night before was for 15kph winds but as soon as the sun went down there were gale force winds that lasted until 3am. The wind then changed direction and was strong but not as nearly as strong as it had been.
At 5.30am it was very eerie as the wind completely died and there was not a sound to be heard.

As the sun rose fog/mist rolled through the valleys creating a very serene and colourful landscape.
